I would be very grateful for any help on the following question :-

'Which one of the following words - Duesenberg, Mitsubishi, Oldsmobile, Studebaker or Volkswagen belongs logically to the same group as all of Altogether, Chimpanzee, Flourished, Sweepstake and Whispering?'

The question setter describes this as 'a logic question' - this normally implies that the meanings of the words are irrelevant - the words are just to be regarded as sequences of letters

My solution

Perhaps bizarre, but ..

. . . Spoiler . < . . . .

B I T E

M

E

R.

R.

. . Spool ..

AHA!!

The second set all contain an English pronoun.

Unless I'm blind or as hizonner Robert (racist lecher pig half-assed artist and phony intellectual) R***and would say 'We ain't very observant, now, is we!!)

then the only one of the Automobile that does is Mitsubishi.
