Hum, there is 23 _ in the word list but 24 in the mystery guest. Maybe c) should be _a_ba_e_ ?

Here's a list of words to work with: clif_: cliff rad_o: radio _a_ba_e_: cabbages garbages _u_c_s_: outcast success tw_l_e: twelve _ngr_: angry

Below are some words that fit.

a. cliff b. radio c. aubades d. outcast/success e. twelve f. angry g. mea/meg/men/mer/met/mew h. aloe/blob/bloc/blot/blow/clod/clog/clop/clot/cloy/floe/ flog/flop/flow/glob/glom/glop/glow/plod/plop/plot/plow/ ploy/slob/sloe/slog/slop/slot/slow i. dinars/diners/donors j. conic/ionic/sonic/tonic

I reckon that 'Twelve Angry Men' has to be a clue.
