There are many people that believe in different things, if some people tend to believe that Jesus was mythological, so be it. It's no different to the people who believe Greek Mythology actually occurred.

Did Jesus actually travel to hell and back (supposedly)? I don't know much about the bible and tales involved... I guess you could say I'm one of the ones who thinks Jesus is mythological (even though my answer was Charon, the ferryman).

But it doesn't matter, because of the meaning of the word 'myth', not in the modern sense of a foolish notion, but in the sense of an ancient story where it doesn't matter whether the people or deities in it are real or not.
