Puzzle material?

Thank you for your reply. I would eventually like to mass produce the puzzle (or have it mass produced), but now I'm still at the testing and polishing stage. I'm not quite ready to spend the $10,000 or so for a mold.

My puzzle pieces do need to be different colors, but I need primary and secondary colors. I know that stains come in various shades, but would staining be better than paint?

Where would I find someone to laser cut the wood pieces? Also, where would I find someone who cuts foam sheets?
