Why does everyone list the same puzzles. Are there no other lateral thinking puzzles at all?

When you challenge the rec.puzzles group, you're the one who will be evaluated, not them.

There are new puzzles posted every day at the Lateral Puzzles Forum:
http://www.lateralpuzzles.com/

The Lateral Puzzles Forum is set up to handle yes/no-style ('twenty questions' puzzles. I've seen yes/no-style puzzles posted here and on alt.brain.teasers, but this type of puzzle usually doesn't work well in a conventional newsgroup.

How could I refuse to take Melko up on this suggestion? So I visited the site. I'm afraid I recognised all the puzzles; some of them date back at least as far as the early 1980s. I'm surprised at the omission of the guy who posted a - well, perhaps that was on grounds of good taste.

Damnit. I missed every single one of them. I've never seen this kind of puzzle before. Is it something that can be improved with practice, or do you just have to be able to think that way?
