I heard there was a gathering of mechanical puzzle collectors in Japan this month, and was wondering if anyone knew of any articles about it. Or if someone went to it and has the time to describe some of the more interesting puzzles seen, or post some photos somewhere that would be great too.

I would also be interested to hear about the puzzle competition, how many entries, who won, what types were entered, etc.

Regards

Next year's will be in Belgium and the year after that will be in the U.S.

There will surely be an article in Cubism for Fun (the newsletter of the Dutch Cube Club).

There will also be a souvenir booklet and I think a CD for all attendees. I have a feeling it might be nice to make additional booklets and CDs available for sale to non-attendees
