This is going to be my first attempt at a constraint puzzle. The wording itself will be relatively meaningless, but the rule, as usual, is to find the contraint and reply with a message using the same constraint. The actual puzzle is after this sentence and before my signature.

Under the edge of my hat, right above my eye, you might glimpse evidence by which I can convey what are clues to my identity. Let me suggest paying little attention, (that is no lie), to formatting conventions. Men have tried such things to no end. Other men of different ilk say it also. Bringing the clues to an end will provide a ray of hope that the solution is near. Please bear me no ill will, because I am but a boy. There is no more to say.

Let me respond to my own puzzle to ask: Is this too hard to figure out, or is nobody trying to figure it out? I'm asking because there has been no response in 5 days. Please let it not be because my puzzles are too

I don't remember what your puzzle was, but people usually reply to challenging puzzles they are unable to solve.
