22. see picture of random pointing arrows. I can't find any patterns. there are 12 up, 6 down, 9 right, 9 left, so i guess the left is correct to make all counts even, but this is not a satisfying answer.

Perhaps it is 17- the number between, going backwards (with Z following A). You have 17 letters (h...a,z...r)

Nope, because then above S T we'd have 24...

You'll notice that 7 isn't one of the options. I thought exactly that when I took the test, and was surprised when I looked at the choices that 7 wasn't there.

Maybe it's a German thing.

The sum of each block should be equal (39), therefor the number in the question-mark is 13.
