In marble walls as white as milk, Lined with a skin as soft as silk, Within a fountain crystal clear, A golden apple doth appear, No doors there are to this stronghold, Yet thieves break in and steal the gold.
Treasure chest without lock, key or lid. Yet golden treasure inside is hid.
A cup sitting in the window, And you can't take a sup, Without breaking the cup.
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall; All the king's horses and all the king's men, Couldn't put Humpty Dumpty together again.

Okay, that's not of flesh, not of grain, and not of bone, but why would anyone/thing carry it around until it is able to walk on its own? Of the animals that carry their eggs with them, most of them seem to live near ponds rather than in farmers' fields.
